It's the Minnesota Fishing Opener and we’ll be opening the waters of Spitzer Lake for some quality time for fathers and sons of all ages. Arrive on Friday night, fish all day Saturday, and go home just in time to celebrate Mother's Day (hint, hint). Bring your own boat or use one of ours. We will have a limited number of rowboats, canoes, and paddleboats to use, as well as space on our pontoon. Not only will you have time to enjoy being out on the lake, but you will also be well-fed and well-entertained as you come away to The Point!

Gotta love the wintertime and the great outdoors!  While the sub-zero temperatures limited some of the outdoor activities, the 2008 Men's Advance was a soul-filling time of refreshment, fellowship, and fun.  Men of all ages enjoyed carpetball tournaments, marathon card games, guiltless nap times, dodgeball games and more.  Dr. Tony Rogness' message of restoration that only comes through Christ was a refreshing truth in a world that tells men they need to pick themselves up by their bootstraps and become better.
